INTRODUCTION
During the first years of Bodibeng High School, the Black Consciousness concept had
a substantial impact on both the educators and students. The concept, which
prioritized black pride and self-empowerment, influenced the approach to instruction
at the institution. Nevertheless, as South Africa shifted towards a democratic age, it is
worth considering if politics continue to have effect on instructors and students inside
the educational system. This article will analyse the continued impact of politics on
teachers and learners in the democratic age, drawing on the research of Tshepo Moloi
(2011) and other pertinent sources to support my argument.
