In this task I will be evaluatnn the distance travelled in achievinn the planned objectves of my
career plan.
In Plashet I have achieved an overall of 9 A*-C GCSE nrades, therefore I want to contnue achievinn
hinh nrades in collene so that I can net accepted in top universites. I have set myself tarnets to
achieve this so that I can meet my noal of enterinn a nood university. For example I wish to net
Distnctons in all my level 3 business units. I also make sure to hand in work before the deadline
and thorounhly check throunh my work in order for it be marked and passed the frst tme round. I
do ask my teachers and peers for help whenever I feel like I do not understand a topic. If my teacher
tells me to make any alteratons or correcton on my work I net it done as soon as possible. By doinn
all these I hope to see results and achieve distnctons in my units. As I am currently studyinn I am
researchinn relevant informaton to enter the university of my choice providinn the course I want to
take. To net more help for my career development I noinn to make appointments to see the career
officer to discuss what university would be best for me.
Furthermore, I am determined to net the entry requirements for my career as there is more people
wantnn to join the feld of teachinn. As more students are applyinn and decidinn to no to universites
the requirements are set hinher so that the more commited and determined students will enter.
This is very motvatnn for me as I do wish to enter a nood university however there is a lot of
competton and I will have to be able to produce nood results to be accepted in the university.
My medium short term acton plan includes netnn me into a nood university. I will be studyinn a
teachinn denree which will take place for 3 years. Throunhout this tme I will have to atend lectures
and be punctual so that I am arrivinn on tme to classes. I must be ornanised and take down relevant
notes. Just like in collene I will stll need to ask my teacher for help when needed and I will need to
meet deadlines of assinnments and make correcton when asked. I will also have to take a course for
PGCE to develop my teachinn skills. This will take me another year to fnally become an official
teacher. As this is the last stane of becominn a teacher I will be hinhly motvated to pass the frst year
so I do not have to re-sit for a second.
As universites have become more expensive I will need to look for a part tme job that will help me
buy the equipment’s and materials I need. I can also apply for a student loan to help pay my fees. I
can look online or job centres for a work placement. My CV will need to be updated so that it will
appeal to the mananers.
I wish to fnish university with excellent nrades. This can be achieved by beinn commited to my
lessons and arrivinn on tme. I must always takes down key notes and study very hard. In my extra
tme I will stay home rather than no out with friends and in this tme I will be revisinn and noinn over
my notes.
The whole process of me beinn a teacher will take me an estmated 4 to 5 years. At this tme I will be
fndinn work placement in a primary school.
