Expiratory respiratory phase is prolonged First line treatment for COPD - ANSWER inhaled anticholinergics like Ipratropium (Atrovent) QID or tiotropium (Spiriva) daily and/or LABA such as salmeterol (Serevent Diskus) or Mormoterol (Foradil Certihaler) Combination drugs Ipratropium and albuterol (Combivent) First-line treatment for COPD - ANSWER inhaled anticholinergic (Atrovent) and/or a long-acting B2 agonist (salmeterol, formoterol) Anticholinergic example - ANSWER Ipratropium (Atrovent) Anticholinergic mechanism of action - ANSWER prevents bronchoconstriction Ode to Anticholinergic - ANSWER Oh this drug makes me pink I can't think or even blink I can't see
