In this course we’ve built an analytical toolkit for:
• conceptualising sex and gender in relation to development
• Thinking intersectionality and decolonially
• Challenging heteronormative framings of masculinity, reproductive justice and development itself
• Understanding power relations in everyday aid work
• Examining mobility of people on the move
• Anticipating the prevalent feminist issues of the next decade (abolition, climate justice, technology)
This lecture will focus on foestering critical hope
• for there to be change, there must be hope and critique
• What might the future look like?
