Attribute Value to Employer
Specific Job-Related
Technical Knowledge (provide Employers value technical knowledge in a certain environment
a list of technical skills as because without any technical knowledge and for example in an
examples) IT business, poor technical knowledge is someone that couldn't
use the hardware/software required for the job. Good technical
knowledge would be used to prevent hacking, viruses etc.

Working procedures and Working with certain systems would be good to an employer
systems because it would allow you to have an interest in the systems and
procedures. If you had to work with certain systems, that you did
not know about, that potentially could put the employer at risk.



Health and Safety procedures It is important that the employee follows the health and safety
procedures that the employer has made for them as both yourself
and the company can be at risk if these are breached. The health
and safety procedures will be followed always to ensure the safety
for everyone involved.
General
Planning & organisational It is important that you plan for anything and it is extremely
skills important that you are organized in terms of deadlines etc. Been
organized in other terms such as not being late is a key thing as
well because it does not give a bad impression. It also means you
can organize a heavy workload and don't get behind in terms of
work.



Time Management Time management is one of the main problems staff members
struggle within the workplace. To do a good job is to keep your
employer happy and to manage your time. This includes many
things such as getting to work on time and completing tasks
within a period.

Team Working Good team working is needed because in certain cases, you
would be needed to work in teams with other people. This means
that you must be tolerant to other people around you and
communicate with people easily.


Verbal & Written This is good because you can approach someone and have a good
Communication Skills conversation with them. It also is good if you can write emails so
that other people can understand them easily.



Numeric Skills Lots of workplaces require a high level of mathematical skills. This
is essential and there are many reasons for it such as calculations.
As calculations, must be 100% accurate. This is much valued by
employers because you will have a good knowledge of all subjects
including maths.



Creativity This is good if you have a good imagination because that means
you can bring new ideas to the employer and these means that
these ideas will be noticed as well.




Attitudes
Determined You may find something difficult to complete but if
you pursue with it, then that shows determination and that is
massively valued by many employers.


Independent This means that you can think for themselves. Employers can look
for someone who isn't dependent on being told what to do. This
shows that you have initiative. You must show a good level of
common sense and flexibility to meet the expectations which
would be valued by the employer.


Working with Integrity This means that you are following your moral or ethical
convictions. it also means that you are doing the right thing in the
circumstances. Therefore, having integrity in the workplace that
you are saying true to yourself and you would do nothing that
demeans.


Tolerant Tolerance helps you and others build bridges and capitalize on
the differences in the workplace. Tolerance is essential to have
because it means that you are tolerated by your work colleagues
which means that you can get along with people more.
