Question 1

1.1 In the realm of public administration, leaders work with localities to
promote the general welfare and bring about positive change.
Professionals in public administration are prepared to manage nonprofit
organizations and all tiers of government (local, state, and federal). Project
management and program management are two skills used widely in
public administration that are frequently transferable to the commercial
sector.
-In the Master of Public Administration program, students examine how
nonprofit and governmental organizations make decisions and carry them out,
preparing them for entry-level positions or career advancement. Students are
expected to complete coursework that requires advanced knowledge and
comprehension of human resource management, communication abilities,
budget/financial management, law, data analysis, and theory as it pertains to the
public sector in order to become competent leaders.

The ability to organize, plan, implement, and carry out a variety of projects and
activities will aid students both now and in the future in their jobs.

-What Is the Job of a Public Administrator?

Public administrators often share a strong dedication to serving their
communities and making a positive difference in them, despite the fact that their
daily tasks can vary substantially depending on the sort of institution they work
for. The phrase "public service" is commonly used in the field of public
administration, and the desire to serve the general welfare is what draws people
to work in this sector.

-You could work in government or nonprofit organizations serving the following
interests or departments as a public administrator:

Transportation
Economic and community development

, Social and public health services
higher education/education

1.2 GovernancePublic ServicesAccording to Hudson and Jones (2005), public
goods are regarded in economics to be non-rivalrous (one person's
consumption does not diminish the benefits of another's consumption)
and non-excludable (when one person consumes, it is not feasible to stop
another from doing so). Samuelson (1954: 387) more eloquently defined a
public good as one that "all enjoy in common in the sense that each
individual's consumption of such a good leads to no subtraction from any
other individual's consumption of that good" in a paper that is
"conventionally considered as the foundation of modern public goods
theory" (Pickhardt, 2005: 283). According to these two strict criteria, no
market for these products may exist, hence governments must pay for
their preservation or provision.

-the term "public good" is a colloquial expression signifying shared societal
benefit The established concrete (economic) definition of a public good (above)
should not be reduced to this abstract (philosophical/political) concept of a
public good. Of course, there is some conceptual overlap between the two ideas:
fair and effective public goods provision enhances the public good, whereas
unfair and ineffective public goods provision undermines it. The public good,
