CEUs required every 2 years - Answer- 40 hours total 3 hours risk mgt (1 hours risk mgt & 2 hours FL rules & laws) 2 hours medical errors 2 hours ethics & boundries 6 hours record keeping 27 hours general Acu = 4 hours total = 2 hours risk mgt & 2 hours technique retired status fee - Answer- $50 (reactive = need CEUs) (reactive 5 years = pass SPEC & FL Rules and Laws exams) # years of inactive license = void - Answer- 4 billing - Answer- itemized statement w/in 5 days of last billing period taking over for a deceased DC - Answer- publish a notice in the newspaper of general circulation notify 2x w/in 2 weeks first month of death/succeeding; and then 4x in 22nd month; record can be destroyed one month after 22 month period *keep records for 2 years for patients who have seen the deceased doctor w/in the past 2 years* w/in 22 months; each week for 4 consecutive weeks; records destroyed one month after trust fund - Answer- unearned fees received by a chiro prior to rendering of services or selling of goods -kept in a special account - journal/receipts - file/ledger for all persons received money to/from - cancelled checks - to cover service fees incurred while maintaining the account in a commercial bank use after services have been rendered *audit 4x/yr* keep record
