The macro economy faces significant and numerous effects. A vital component is youth,
who play a role in growing it, diversifying, and ensuring its future. They occupy a critical part of

One of them is youth crime which detrimentally impacts the macroeconomy. Crime by young
people costs the economy through channels such as healthcare costs for victims, low productivity
