Based on our discussion in class, what are the two reasons it is necessary to
establish public health campaign goals and objectives clearly and concisely
using specific behavior-based language? Please use examples to support
your answer.
Your Answer:
According to our class discussion the two reasons it is necessary to establish
public health campaign goals and objectives clearly and concisely using
specific behavior based language are one- what is being asked from the
audience or what is exactly expected from them. Do they have enough
information on the issue? Because, it is essential for the audience if the
campaign message is less complicating, if it has been successful, and if it is
more effective for them to get benefit out of it. Not only that audience might
have a tendency to use it but also to share the campaign and recommend it
to their loved once. Specially, if the campaign present a great deal of
information in a way that is clear for them to understand and visually
appealing there is a higher chance that the public health campaign will reach
to most people and they will be exposed. For instance, are more people like
students at the university of Nevada using Lime Bikes? Personally speaking,
as an audience, I heard this lime bikes through one of my friend. The lime
bikes works technically as Uber bike. The bikes are attractive to use, if we as
students ride them to class we will burn calories, therefore, those bikes are
very beneficial for students health and also help students to get to class on
time. I would recommend it to my friends. This Lime bikes are perfect
example for public health campaign.
Second is that encouraging and providing the audience with a clear and
measurable goals and objectives in order to help them succeed their
expectation from the campaign. For example, if the audience understand the
goals and objective they will put the time and money to invest in it. They will
also take the time to change the behavior.
