Carbohydrates are the main energy sources for human beings. But some people choose a low carb diet to limit the amount of carbohydrates they consume. A low carb diet is a meal comprising of a high fat proportion with sufficient protein. It is also known as a keto diet or a high fat diet. Most carbs are found in sugary foods, bread, and pasta, among others. Instead, a person eats whole foods such as vegetables, fats, and natural protein. This is because low carb diets result in significant weight loss and are recommended by many doctors.
