Consultancy report ‘Banbury Castle’
Zoë Kraak – Water Consultancy Group
, Executive summary
We are all aware that great power carries enormous responsibility, and this is particularly true
for those who hold leadership positions within organizations. Specifically, a company that
provides a certain service.
Michael Graham, the manager of Banbury Castle, a wedding castle in lovely Oxfordshire,
likewise feels this way. The business was successful, and the employees were content up until
this point. He undoubtedly questioned what went wrong and what might be done to address
the problems. He called the Waters Consulting Group since he was unable to solve the
problem on his own, and Ben Smit was sent to Banbury Castle to study and analyze the
present problems there. A consultant report submitted to Banbury Castle contains the results
of his investigation and analysis.
Ben Smit discovered that there are two major problems at Banbury Castle: a leadership
problem and a lack of motivation. He discovered after conducting more in-depth research that
the majority of employees either lack the opportunity for professional development at work or
have the incorrect or absent leadership style. To explain these issues professionally, certain
theories, models, and interviews with employees are used.
