While doing questions in film study you need to be able to analise
the types of devices in used in the photo for example: the camera 9
angles, camera shot size, camera movement, focus, lighting, color
and the lines provided in the photo this are called the micro
elements of film study and must use visual literacy skills, discuss
the significance of the film devices used in the photo and look at
the elements
. Film studies is an academic discipline that deals with various
theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to cinema as an art
form and a medium. It is sometimes subsumed within media
studies and is often compared to television studies.

IT’S WHERE THE CAMERA IS IN RELATION TO THE SUBJECT
Camera Angles. The term camera angle means slightly different
things to different people but it always refers to the way a shot is
composed. Some people use it to include all camera shot types,
others use it to specifically mean the angle between the camera
and the subject. We will concentrate on the literal interpretation
of camera angles, that is, the angle of the camera relative to the
subject.
High angle the camera is above the subject
Low angle the camera is below the subject
Oblique angle the subject appears tilted
Birds eye angle the camera is high in the air, looking down on
the subject
Worms eye angle the camera low on the ground up at the
subject
