In this story, men and women are shown different in terms of approach to things. Men
tend to be more “perfect” as they are following the law, while women are shown as those
who prefer to follow the justice. At the same time, specifically women’s attention to smaller
details was helpful in solving the case. Mrs. Peters’ attention helped to find necessary
evidences. “Here's a bird-cage,” she said. “Did she have a bird, Mrs Hale?” (Glaspell n.p.).
The story does not clearly argue that one sex is better that the other, however, it emphasizes
that men are not much interested in womanly things. Men think that their strict focus on law
