According to Ms. Harris the Neurobehavioral Unit typically serves children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 21; however, individuals over the age of 21 are occasionally admitted. Patients have a wide range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, eating disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and different genetic, metazoan, and environmental factors.
