Airline Alliances Airline alliances are cooperative agreements between airlines that allow
them to expand their global reach and improve their networks by adding more destinations
without having to fly to all locations themselves. These alliances offer passengers access to
more destinations, improved frequencies and schedules, better connectivity, and a seamless
travel experience. . These alliances involve the sharing of resources, such as code-sharing,
frequent flyer programs, airport lounges, and coordinated schedules. The three major airline
alliances are Star Alliance, One World, and Sky Team. These alliances allow airlines to expand
their network and provide more destinations to their passengers.
