Task 2 Visual streams and autism
Bronson: subcortical -> retinocollicular pathway (2-3m), so subcortical to cortical, but:
several cortical information processing pathways so maybe oversimplistic, AND the
psychological abilities in newborns might show islands of cortical functioning.
Schiller: model of overt visual attention. 2 segregated processing streams: broadband
(magnocellular, processes quickly but low resolution and no color), and color-opponent
(parvocellular, slower but high resolution and color).
4 pathways for the control of eye movements:
Pathway
