Introduction:

The Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (DAC) has tasked us with developing a public
relations program to promote culture in four provinces, namely Eastern Cape, Limpopo,
Kwazulu-Natal, and North-West. The aim of the program is to reclaim, restore, and preserve
various aspects of living heritage to address challenges faced by communities in these
provinces. We have been provided with a budget of R 20 000 000 to plan and execute the
program using the RAISE formula. In this assessment, we will discuss the steps involved in
developing the program, including research, adaptation, implementation of strategy, and
evaluation, and apply them to the DAC case study. By the end of this assessment, we hope to
have developed a comprehensive public relations program that promotes culture and
heritage in the selected provinces, and effectively engages with the target audience.
