, INTRODUCTION
This assignment's chosen exam focuses on strengthening the learners' writing abilities.
This exam was conducted in a second-year class that merged the basic vocational learning
track with the advanced vocational learning track. This class's CEFR level ranges from A1
to A2, as according to the Council of Europe (2018), levels A1 and A2 correspond to ‘basic
users of the language, i.e. those able to communicate in everyday situations with
commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary’. According to Sanders, the goal of
this exam is to "certify learners" (2017). It's a summative evaluation that's utilized to finish a
section of the educational program and examine the learners' understanding of the fifth
chapter of their new interface book. The test grades are determined using a grading system
and an answer sheet with a grading system.
In this paper, I will analyse an exam aimed at strengthening the learners' writing abilities. In
addition, I will discuss the findings of my analysis and present an enhanced version of a test
component.
