Debit → Substitute for physical cash payment
cards → Initiated against customers account – requires sufficient funds

Credit → Purchase on credit
cards → Receives funds from bank – settle amount outstanding

→ Additional annual fixed card fee + interest
EFT → Transfer funds electronically from bank accounts
