NSG C919-Outline MGP2 Facilitation of Context-Based Student-Centered Learning August 2021. Course Outline Template Course Overview: The course meets weekly for two hours to discuss community health nursing. We will use interactive, student-centered learning techniques to develop key concepts based on weekly topics. The course begins with an introduction to community health nursing evolving into epidemiology principles and performing a community assessment. Knowledge on advocating for the community and how to identify its stakeholders will be developed in addition to cultural competency and evaluating needs of urban and rural populations.
