Elements of this paper will include the summary of the analysis, how the organizations mission, vision and goals play in to the culture and climate of the organization, as well as identified strengths and weaknesses. We will also explore the organizations environment and ability to support a safe healthy working environment for staff and patients and what part leadership style plays in that alignment. Organizational Culture Description Organizational culture can be defined as the way an organization carries out their operations, this is based on the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, it guides the decision-making process used by leadership within the organization and helps to form the organizations climate. Organizational climate is the employee’s perception of the work environment and what affect it has on their physical and emotional wellbeing (Iljins, Skvarciany & Gaile-Sarkane, 2015). Organizational culture and climate are somewhat similar because they both pertain to perceptions but culture refers to the organizations values and how those beliefs are lived out within the organization, while organizational climate refers to how the employees perceive their experiences and interactions within the organization. An organizations culture has been linked to the longevity and effectiveness of an organization. It also has a direct impact on employee productivity, morale, engagement, satisfaction and wellbeing, both physically and mentally.
