3. Access how effective your observations as an interviewer are. Would your observations
allow you to make an informed decision about the candidate?

Based on my inquiries, I believe that my observations are insufficient to form an overall
opinion and make an informed decision about a candidate. This is due to the fact that my
questions were mostly based on the candidate's performance on previous relevant work
experience, but my questions were insufficient to obtain a detailed analysis of the
candidate personally. I was also unable to have a normal conversation with the candidate
to see how they can behave socially, which would aid the interviewer in determining how
they would interact with team members. Overall, I believe I have good questions about
work experience but not enough about myself.

I would agree that my communication skills during the interview were adequate. I gave
detailed answers that were relevant to the roles criteria and the question in a formal and
appropriate manner using verbal communication. I also asked the interviewer about the
role's responsibilities as well as the company's long-term plans and how I would fit into
them. In terms of nonverbal communication, I was able to express my personality and
respond to questions more passionately by using body language. I maintained a disciplined
and respectful posture while listening to the interviewer. I also used facial expressions like
smiling to convey a positive character and overall vibe. One significant improvement I
could make for myself is to use less body language.


6. How did you use effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills while
conducting an interview? List examples of you used both and any areas to develop.

Communication skills would be difficult as an interviewer because you would be speaking
less. Nonetheless, I believe I did well on this. For example, I maintained a straight posture
throughout the interview to demonstrate discipline and professionalism as I represented
the company. I also demonstrated discipline and professionalism by looking at the
candidate with my head up, a slight cross, and direct eye contact. With verbal
communications, I asked formal and professional questions to demonstrate seriousness
and to assess the candidate's professional character.
