, In this table it shows the unemployment rate in Luton. Altogether there are 10,302
people who are unemployed which is 5.6% of the population. Then there are 2,627
people aged 16 to 24 who are unemployed which is 1.4%. the unemployment rate
of people aged 50 to 74 is 1,706 which is 0.9%. The amount of people that never
worked is 1,892 which is 1.0%. Finally the amount of people who have been
unemployed for a long term is 3,971 which is 2.2%
In the below screenshot it shows the population of Luton. There are 258,018
(100.0%) people who live in Luton of which 128,864 (49.9%) are males and 129,154
(50.1%) are female.
