Summary health and nutrition[based on taste while the healthy foods are marketed based on health benefits, and yet more and more people are turning to unhealthy foods (Agrawal, 2015). The consumer is stimulated by the appealing foods that they see on mass media and which increases their desires to try on these foods yet few companies market their healthy foods. People have created the notion that healthy foods are not tasty and when it comes to the decision between healthy or tasty food the human nature always chooses the tastier food. The problem here lies in the decisions the people make in regards to food this is because people make decisions based on the information that is presented the healthier foods are not being consumed as much because they are not adequately marketed. People chose the temporary indulgence of today over the benefits that they will receive in the future by having healthy bodies. The presentation related to the reading by Irmak, Vallen & Robinson (2014) which identifies that the name of the food items promotes greater desires to acquire them. The tastier unhealthy foods shave better brand means as compared to the healthy foods that influence the decisions of the consumers making them choose the unhealthy options with better names than the healthy foods.]
