Module One Journal Assignment After reading my Leadership Circle Profile, I feel like I learned a lot about myself, along with some very valuable lessons. In the center of my leadership circle there are some characteristics. Those characteristics are self-awareness, authenticity, system awareness, achieving, controlling, protecting, complying, and relating. Some of these traits I do not show much of, but others like, complying, is higher up on the scale for me. This means that I like to meet the standards appropriate for the job. I seem to be very agreeing with wishes and commands that go along with the job. This is true, and I see this in myself a lot. I never want to do anything that is going to make me mess up, or mess someone else up that I am working with. I like to be on task and make others happy with the work I am doing, or work they ask me to do. On the outer layer of the Leadership Circle Profile there are a bunch of characteristics and tasks including integrity, courageous authenticity, community concern, sustainable productivity, systems thinker, strategic focus, purposeful visionary, achieves results, decisiveness, perfect, driven, ambition, autocratic, arrogance, critical, distance, passive, belonging, pleasing, conservative, caring connection, fosters team play, collaborator, mentoring developing, impersonal intelligence, selfless leader, balance, composure, and personal learner. Some that show higher scores than others. A few of those have higher scores than others. My highest score came from my caring connection, balance, and personal leader tasks. Caring connection means that I am compassionate and form warm relationships. This is true, and I rely on the relationships I create a lot. I love nothing more than meeting new people and making sure that those who are important to me, always feel as though they mean something to me and that I
