Question 1: Language editing
There is never a justification for spanking your kids. I would argue that corporal punishment destroys
the psyche of the vulnerable members of their society. Corporal punishments maintain order by
fear. I hear that corporal punishing does more harm to kids. I pray that this corporal punishment
story is abolished soon enough in order to whether the storm. doctors should counsel perpetrators
by creating a peaceful environment.

word in a sentence to show your understanding of the words.
2.1 Meltdown – having loss of control over one’s feelings or behaviour.
I had to learn to steer clear of high-stimulus activities because they triggered meltdowns, where I am
suddenly and uncontrollably overwhelmed to the point of physically.
2.2 Bankruptcy – a legal process where you’re declared unable to pay your debts.
If you’re struggling financially, bankruptcy gives you the opportunity to pay down a portion of your
debts over time or have some of them eliminated entirely.
2.3 Recession – is a downward trend in the business cycle characterized by a decline in production
and employment.
Between 2007 and 2009 there was a period of marked general decline recession observed in
national economies.
2.4 Assets – a useful thing or valuable person.
I have acquired some assets for my business, e.g. equipment.
2. 5 Investment – investment is an asset acquired with the gaol of generating income.
I have acquired shares in First Rand group to the value of ZAR1500000 as my investment in the
group.
