Good Evening Class: Here is our strategy during year 11 for our company Friendly Fotos, based off of the guide and what we learned from the last rounds: Year ten we stayed strong, but there is definitely room for improvement. We are still in fourth place; however, we are trying to see what can be done to increase our image rating. Product Design – During the 11th year we maintained the multi-feature P/Q rating at 3½ stars and a 3 star P/Q for the entry level cameras. We increased the multi-feature camera to three models and the megapixels to 24 and maintained the entry-level at three models as well. However, we left everything else the same for both cameras. Marketing Focus- Once again we continued to market in Europe-Africa, then AsiaPacific, Latin America and last North America. We are continuing to make some advancement in North America. We increased all of the on-line retailers, local and multi-store-chains in each area because of cost. We did not change the pricing too much. We did increase all regions to $170.00 for entry level. As far as the multifeature camera we increased it to $475.00 across the board. Then we then adjust the promotion periods and percentages off in order to help sales and off set costs. Entry-Level Assembly- This year we had the same plan for assembly as we did in the previous years. We seemed to sells out in most of the regions and in the others had a few extra on hand. We made sure to keep extra on hand especially with the sales. We still focused heavily in the third quarter, but made sure to have some extras to begin the first quarter of the following year.
