1.1 How to control the use of technology in the classroom:
• Create clear instructions: having a set of clear guidelines are essential so that you can
refer to it throughout the year.
• Retain the services of learner technicians: It's much more common for students to ask
a fellow student for help than it is to ask the teacher. The student tech support team
should be comprised of students who are hardworking, helpful, and friendly.
• Move around in the classroom: Your presence in the room is the best management
method, but there are ways to keep them on course and limit your walking around time.
• Engage interest: Use technology to assist your learners relate to the educational
materials, providing entertaining educational movies and music as well as programs and
online communication that can be used.
• Create a professional online platform: due to covid-19, schools are constantly closing
and re-opening. Thus a online platform can assist all learners and educators to continue
class work.
1.2 Characteristics associated with Millennial generation are:
• Technology savvy: Technology is used to communicate more than in person.
• Rely on search engines for information: 89% of Millennials search for information
through a search engine, according to research.
• Prefer teamwork and collaboration: They prefer to work in groups rather than alone,
and they prefer to share what they've learned in small groups.
• Constantly seek feedback: Feedback on their academic success is vital to them.
• Short attention span: While working, they prefer to be fully engaged and have fun
rather than be bored and impatient.
• Learn by trail and error: prefer to experiment with technology, pressing keys until they
discover out how it works. The only time they will seek assistance is if they can't come
up with a solution.
• Interested in multimedia: This generation has grown up with a wide range of
entertainment, communication, and informational options available to them in a variety
of formats. As a result, they favor interactive media over passive media.
• Multitask on everything: can do several tasks easily at the same time.
