An event organiser has many roles, for example the event organiser
needs to make sure people are satisfied with the event and that it
meets all the criteria that the client wants for the event like choosing
the right colour scheme, food and location. Location is one of the
main parts when organising an event. The organiser needs to choose
a location that fits the event perfectly like if the event is going to be
outside or inside also the organiser needs to think about the weather
and will have to make sure to choose a sunny day or the organiser
can make sure they have a big tent with chairs and tables, so people
will not have to be out in the rain. The next main part is planning the
event, the organiser will have to make sure to think everything
thoroughly and if something happens like a problem the organiser
needs have backups so there are not any conflicts, the organiser will
also have to pick a day and what at what time the event will start and
end. The organiser needs to pick a scheme for the event so the
organiser needs to listen to his client and think about what the client
wants like for example what colours does the client want in the
event and what colours does he not like so the organiser will pick the
right colour scheme for the event. Next important part for the
organiser is to pick the right food for the event and if alcohol will be
served, the organiser or caterer will have to have a license to serve
alcohol at the event. The organiser will also have to think about
allergies, so the organiser needs to make sure they have alternatives

how much he wants to spend on the event, so budgeting is another

Communication skills is something you really need to be an effective
event planner, you will have to make sure your employees

Budget control is another skill you need to have to be an effective
and successful event organiser, the organiser needs have a budget
set for the event on how much he wants to spend. The lowest

Problem Solving
Solving problems is a skill you need to have not just as an events
planner but in life it is an important skill. You always need to be
ready for any problem you will have, and you will have to take
