Have you selected and analysed 10 items from the Fortnite text for pre-teaching?
Have you deleted the examples given and filled in all sections in the table?
Have you stuck to the maximum word limit of 700 words?
2. Vocabulary Pre-Teaching Materials
Have you included copies of any visual aids, worksheets or other materials you would use?
3. Teacher Language for Teaching 2 Items
Have you presented how you would teach two items of vocabulary in dialogue form (i.e.,
showing your questions and student responses)?

Elicited and explained the meaning?
Concept checked?
Taught the pronunciation?
TEXT 3 – Upper Intermediate Lesson - Stages 3 and 4
1. First Reading Task
Have you devised 2 or 3 skim and/or scan questions?
2. Second Reading Task
Have you created 7-10 comprehension questions?
Do one or two of the questions encourage students to respond to the text?
Will the questions help students reach a thorough understanding of the language and content of
the text?
