, Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the impact of Agile and DevOps on project management

approaches and team structure in the context of software development. The tactics employed in

project management are what decide whether a project succeeds or fails. When it comes to

software project planning, execution, and delivery to customers, Agile and DevOps methods are

dramatically altering decades-old conventions. The goal of agile processes, in particular, is to

meet client expectations in a timely way while reducing the number of mistakes that occur.

According to the findings of this research, the Agile and DevOps approaches have an impact on

scope management, quality control management, and estimating. All of these have an influence

on general project management techniques as well as specific project management practices. A

survey of the literature also shown that Agile and DevOps methodologies have an influence on

shared responsibility, automation, and feedback mechanisms, all of which contribute to the

organizational structure and structure of the team. The present study, in particular, provides a

conceptual framework and prepositions that researchers may choose to examine experimentally

in the future to get a more complete understanding of the impact. As a result of the findings, the

research makes advice to industries contemplating utilizing Agile or DevOps as part of a plan to

improve project management methodologies and team structure. Agile approaches are growing

increasingly popular among businesses. According to Gartner, although most established

software development businesses are transitioning to agile development methodologies, startups

are increasingly embracing agile methodology from the ground up. The goal of this thesis is to

examine several agile approaches in software development (such as Scrum, extreme

programming, and others) in order to determine which strategy is the most effective. Each agile
