Introduction
I am going to create a report for The Brent and Harrow Chamber of Commerce in which I will
explain the different ways in which a business can use social media, explain the audience profiles
of different social media websites, assess the different ways in which a business can use social
media to attract a target audience, and evaluate the business use of social media to interact with
customers and promote products or services to a target audience.

What is social media?
Any online platform that helps users build and post content with the public is known as social
media. The term “social media” refers to a variety of websites and applications. Twitter, for
example, focuses on exchanging connections and brief written posts. Others, such as Instagram
and Tik Tok, are designed to make picture and video sharing simpler.
What distinguishes social media from other forms of communication is that it is both expansive
and uncensored. In particular social media companies enforce certain limits—for example,
excluding photos of abuse or nudity—there are far fewer constraints to what people can share
than in traditional modes of public broadcasting such as newspapers, radio stations, and television
stations.
