We were asked to design a database for Gametopia, an online videogame retail company by using LucidChart. We found the following entities; Video Game, Publisher, Game Order, Customer Account, Review, Developer, Gametopia Primary Contact and Order. We were wondering if we had to divide the Video Game entities in three distincts entities including Game Genre (system) and Game Country. We were not sure about the relationship between the Video Game entity and the Developer entity. We had a doubt between the cardinalities between Developer ID’s because we took the assumptions that a Developer is called a Developer once he has created at least one video game. That is why we decided to put one or many instead of 0 or many.
