SXL 1112 Contract Law
Contract Law is a required component of the LLB degree. It is also a mandatory
module for a qualifying law degree (QLD), which implies that if you want to be a
solicitor or a barrister, you must pass this module.
The goal of this module is for you to be able to articulate and apply the rules of
English contract law clearly and relevantly, as well as make legal assessments
based on that law.
The module will help you understand the nature of contracts and the principles
that support them, such as how a legitimate contract is formed, what problems
may occur in contract formation, the contents of a contract, and what remedies
are available if any condition is breached. It will allow you to compare and
contrast.
