Develop A Plan of Work
Valuing Everyone’s Perspective Equipping employees with the effective tools to engage effectively enables and empowers both employees and managers to resolve conflict constructively. A SMART actionable plan of work positions HR to cultivate a supportive workplace to address concerns immediately and effectively in a way that is flexible enough to acknowledge individual differences and perspectives. Approaching conflict with emotional intelligence increases the chance to create meaningful work for transitioning parents, attract and retain top talent, and sustain competitive advantage in a disruptive innovative workforce. Conveying competence of the organization’s effectiveness to reach its goals and function in day-to-day operations enhances the perceived organizational support to produce higher commitment and performance among employees who feel they are treated fairly and well (Shanock et. al, 2019). Maslow’s Hierarchy of Need model, SMART goals, and any other strategic method or tool are neither all-inclusive nor exclusive but are only as effective as they are implemented to resolve conflict in a way that is respectful and fair, and where everyone feels appreciated and valued.
