1. Locate the Search Articles, Books and more search box under “Search Library Resources” in the center of
the library home page. This box searches for many library resources; it is a great place for beginning your
research.
Type Learning Styles in the search box and hit Enter.
Filter your results using the “Availability,” “Resource Type,” and “Publication Date” options
located under the Update Your Results section on the left-hand side of the page.
In the “Availability” area, select Peer-reviewed Journals.
In the Publication Date area, select the box and enter 2020 in the first box and 2025 in the second box.
In the Resource Type area, select “Articles.” Click Apply Filters.

2. Go back to the main page of the library’s website: https://www.franklin.edu/library. Click Databases in the
left-hand tool bar to explore the various ways these resources are arranged (by name, by subject, and
type).
Select the “By Subject” tab. Use the filter drop down menu to locate Professional Foundations.
A narrowed list of databases will appear below the filter menu (you may need to scroll down). List three
databases in the Professional Foundations subject list.

2. EBSCO eBook Collection
3. Newsbank
3. Click Journals in the left-hand tool bar to search for a specific journal. This search box locates journals by
title or subject. You will be looking for the Journal of Higher Education, so type the search term “Journal
of Higher Education” in the search box and hit Enter to see what databases it is available in. Click on the
