provided you with a link to the Tools and Resources in EHR Go activity. Click on 2:
Launch EHR to review the patient chart and begin this activity.
3. Refer to the patient chart and any suggested resources to complete this activity.
4. Document your answers directly on this activity document as you complete the activity.
When you are finished, you will save this activity document to your device and upload
this activity document with your answers to your Learning Management System (LMS).
The activity
There are several tools and resources available in the EHR Go system to streamline and
optimize the experience of each EHR user. Launch Etta Rose’s EHR to review some of these
resources in practice.
Alerts
Click on the Alerts tab. Review the three alerts that were entered in patient’s EHR. Notice that
these alerts also show on the patient header next to a red triangle alert symbol. This display
allows the patient’s healthcare team to easily view her alerts at first glance.
Graphs
Click on the Vitals tab. Scroll down to view the graphs providing a visual representation of the
patient’s vital signs for each vitals category (TPR B/P O2, Pain, Growth, etc.). Click on the 4-way
arrow icon to expand the graph image (see below). To close the Vitals graph detail, click on the
X in the upper right-hand corner of the detail window.
