INSTRUCTION TO CANDIDATES
1. Complete all parts not in blocks. Your Student number and full names must also be written at
the top right-hand corner of each loose sheet.
2. Write neatly and clearly, using both sides of the paper. Leave both margins entirely free for the
use of the examiner.
3. You need not commence each new answer on a fresh page of the answer book. However, after
completing an answer, draw a line across the page; then, at the beginning of your new answer,
write the number of the question as given on the question paper, centering it, if possible. Keep
the answers to sub-sections of a question together; indicating the break between sub-sections
by spacing or a short line.
4. Every student shall fill in the attendance slip provided. Students will also be required by the
supervisor to present their student identification card. Students who are unable to provide such
proof of identity will be permitted to proceed with the examination but will be required
subsequently to provide proof of identity by means of an alternative form of identification.
5. Every student must read and comply to the instructions which appear on the front cover of the
answer book, as well as the instructions on the question paper. As prove students must sign in
full on the front page of the answer book.

shall cease writing when instructed by the supervisor. At the conclusion of the examination all
students shall remain seated until all examination booklets have been collected.
