Organizational Commitment: A psychological state that describes an
employee’s relationship with their organization & a propensity to
continue the relationship with the organization.


Three Components:

, 1) Affective commitment - Refers to an employee’s emotional
attachment to an organization (caring and loyalty).


2) Continuance commitment - The degree to which an employee is
aware of the costs of leaving the organization, unable to leave
