Freer Practice Activity

1. Think about the 6 things below.
Write down one word for each (e.g., Samarkand). Put the answers in a different
order from the sentences.

 The nicest place you have ever visited
 Somewhere you have gone on holiday that you didn't like
 A foreigner you have met
 The most famous person you have ever met
 The most expensive thing you have ever bought
 Something you have lost




2. Work with a partner. Swap worksheets and ask each other questions about the
words in the boxes.
E.g. A: Why have you written 'leather jacket' in this box?
B: Oh, that's the most expensive thing I've ever bought.
A: Really? I thought it was something you have lost. How much was it?
