• Type : Transacational or Analytical •
Timeliness : relevance based on age • Quality
: accurate, complete, consistent, timely (up-
to-date), and unique data • Governance : data
is managed well, organized, updated,
maintained, and accessed correctly
The Four Primary Traits of the Value of Information are
• Type: Transacational or Analytical
• Timeliness: an aspect of information whsoe usefulness depends on the
situation. In Information that is a few days or weeks old can be relevant,
while in others information that is a few minutes old can be almost
worthless. Real-time information means immediate, up-to-date information.
• Quality: accurate, complete, consistent, timely (up-to-date), and unique
data
• Governance: data is managed well, organized, updated, maintained, and
accessed correctly
