Hello Professor and class,
This week I am staring my clinical rotation in the Tampa area at a primary care practice for adults. I just
completed my pediatric rotation so this population will be new for me other than my practice as a
bedside nurse at a Medical Surgical unit. My anticipated schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday from 8am-5pm. My goal for the course on the clinical side is to practice all the skills in the
elderly population that are part of the clinical competency list. This week I will be getting oriented to the
clinic and I will be introduced to my preceptor. In looking at the clinical competency week I would like for
