firm experienced two major advantages.

basic legal advice do not always require the expertise of a fully qualified attorney. By
delegating these tasks to trained non-lawyers, the firm lowered salary expenses and

access to justice for ordinary people.

Second, the firm increased productivity and improved service delivery. Lawyers were
freed from time-consuming routine work and could focus on more complex legal
matters that required specialised knowledge and professional judgment. This better
use of skills improved turnaround times and allowed the firm to serve more clients. In
short, the introduction of trained non-lawyers improved both efficiency and
