Change exam chair sheet between every visit
Restock room with medical supplies
Chart Workflow
Choose provider: Type in provider name
Click Go to Exam right under that which should now be green
Change Location to Room Number PT going to → Change Ready for Provider to With Provider →
Add .,UrgentCare to + Reason → Add + Vitals From Right side
Lock screen before leaving room ( + L)
bringing patient to room - ANS 7 steps:
Make eye contact and smile (usually not feeling well, upset about long wait). Be polite

,Call the patient from the waiting area by saying "Patient + Last Name _________?"
"Perfect, please follow me! Welcome to CityMD we will be going to Room 2 today"
If they're coming with someone: "Are you okay with them coming with you?"
While walking to room, don't let them talk about their symptoms in the hallway to ensure
patient privacy
Cut them off nicely ( thank you but let's talk in the room)
Change flags when you get to the room: Blue flag + Red flag (parallel/perpendicular) should be
up
Take height and weight of children before entering the room
Steps when entering room and getting patient situated - ANS Close door after bringing them
into the room
Tell them where to sit and to take off any extra layers they may not need
Tell them to put drinks and belongings in chair by door or bedside table attached to the chair
