©Timing of the assessment.. Answer:- it must be completed after the 40-
hour training is complete
- cannot be completed more than 90 days before submitting the RBT
certification application or 45 days before the RBT's certification end
date for renewals
©The structure of the assessment Answer:- it may be conducted over
one or more sessions
- may be conducted in-person, via live internet, or through observations
of recorded videos
©Administration of the assessment Answer:- for areas that include
multiple tasks, the application need only demonstrate competence in one
task
- for each task one of two assessment types may be used (with a client or
role-play)
- at least one of the tasks needs to be demonstrated with a client
©Documentation of the assessment Answer:- assessor will initial and
mark the assessment type used next to each task
- assessor will sign and date the completed assessment
- assessors must maintain documentation for 7 years
