QUESTION 1
1.1 Workload management
● As a social worker manager with 12 social workers I will share
responsibilities with them and also divide the 35 inpatients in to 7 groups
and share every group to each social worker . the other 60 outpatients will
be shared by other 5 social workers. I will encourage everyone to work as
a team so that we plan our time properly. We will engage families and
patients to deliver quality services. We will prioritise our time by dealing
with the important things first. We will also need help for donations from
stakeholders and other donors outside who can help with building more
rooms for out-patients.
● The reason for doing that is because we must be able to make reports in
time and reach our monthly target. As a team we can be able to impact
and influence the patients and their families and also inspire others.
1.2 risk management
● we will have to identify the potential problems before they occur, like the
donations that we will have to do will they be enough, wont we stuck along
the way financially, will we be able to accommodate everyone after the
building. as a team we will have to communicate with the patients to know
their opinions.
● The risk management will be used to minimise the resourcing errors can
cause to patients and staff
1.3 financial resource management
● budget will be drawn and see if it covers the project as a whole. The
● the budget will help in managing finances to meet our goal of building, it
will also help in knowing what to cutback, reduction and environmental
challenges
1.4 change management
, ● we will need to know what is it that we need to achieve, who is going to do
what in the building project and how to engage people
● it will help us all to be hands on and achieve our goal

Four sources of funding that are available to NGO’s
● grant funding agencies can provide funding for NGO’s and they are also the
biggest contributors
● private companies like LOTTO can also do funding and it is a well-known
company for funding NGO’s
● social development can also fund the NGO’s as we are also doing part of their
job.
● National Development agency can also fund the NGO’s
● All these funding will be good for the project as none will need to be paid back.

Five principles to adopt to ensure sustainability of the project
● values and ethics honesty and trust will sustain the project and the behaviour
of members and project manager
● stakeholder participation by involving local agencies and government will
ensure improved access to the government. They will help with sustaining the
project activities.
● risk reduction by making sure the community sees us as a team and not know
the teams’ personal challenges if there are any, and by also trying by all
means not to fall back with budget.
● stakeholder interest have an effect on the project team.
● short-term and long-term orientation – the project must have long term
orientation to be successful
