(authors, editors), edition statement and sometimes the publisher. AACR2R requires
cataloguers to take most bibliographic details directly from the title page to ensure
accuracy and consistency.
Verso of the title page (copyright page)
The verso, found at the back of the title page, supplies essential publication details
that may not appear on the title page. This includes the copyright date, edition or
impression, ISBN, publisher’s address, and sometimes cataloguing-in-publication
