Research studies have found HESI scores highly accurate in predicting NCLEX success. Therefore, it is recommended
that organizations use HESI scores for decision-making. Many subject area categories are included in each report. Each
category section includes information about subcategories and a graph that also shows comparisons between the actual
performance, the Acceptable Level (850) and the Recommended Level (900). When preparing for the NCLEX, it is
recommended that students dedicate time and effort to remediate any category with a HESI score below 850.
