-Provide proof of residency, identity, social security number and legal presence
-must answer 100% on signs test
-must answer 80% on general knowledge test

Obtaining learner's permit
-applicants under 18 must wait 15 days to retake
-applicants over 18 must pay $2 or wait 15 days
-fail 3 times must take driver's ed.
-fail more than 3 times you must take the 8 Hour Learner's Permit Test Prep Course
Failed learner's permit
-should practice with a licensed driver who is at least 21 or a family member at least 18
- carriers may not carry more than 3 passengers who are under the age of 18.
Permit Guidelines
-must be at least 16 years and 3 months old
-must hold a learner's permit for at least 9 months
-must successfully complete driver's ed
