Materials Needed: two-colored counters, tens frames, number cards, unifix cubes,
vocabulary cards, smartboard/projector
Prior Knowledge: Use drawings and objects to break apart two groups. Put two groups
together.
Launch/Introduction: Students will be shown the following picture provided by Reveal
math curriculum for lesson 6-1 launch.
